san jac adn program spring 2017

Published

Hello!

I have just applied and, I just wanted to know if anyone has also applied and what are your gpas and hesi scores? I am really nervous about not getting in. I am already using my fall semester to take extra classes for my gpa because I did not get into any BSN programs. Houston's BSN programs are really competitive so I understood why I could not get in but, I don't want to waste any more time. It really sucks when everyone is getting into programs while i'm just taking gpa boosters. My gpa is at a 2.8 and I got a 82 for my HESI score.

Thank you!

I don't have mine yet, the admin said she'd give me my CRN's on the 5th. How long are clinical days? I know all of this was likely covered in orientation but I missed that b/c I didn't know I was in until after. I'm told there will be an alternate date for ori, but don't know yet when that'll be.

It sounds like you get out of class pretty early some days, but they made it clear it's pretty impossible to work during the program right? Just because of the class load/ studying?

You can work if you can handle the load but not recommended. Although the class load looks small, we will need to practice the skills in the skills lab and that is outside of class time I believe. The clinicals are 12 hours. We have a groupme if you like to join.

Yes please! I'd love to be added to that!! I can PM you my info!

Hello, I would like to join the groupme.

Just PM me your name and number!

I don't think I can PM you because I don't have the minimum 15 post.

Lol, I also can't PM..

Lol, do you have any other "informal" ways to contact you. If not, if you find anything super important that you don't mind discussing on here that would be awesome.

Lol post till we make 15?? Or post ur email. :nailbiting:

Okay thanks...(was trying to edit out/delete my number)

Anyone receive the books yet?
