san jac adn program spring 2017

Published

Hello!

I have just applied and, I just wanted to know if anyone has also applied and what are your gpas and hesi scores? I am really nervous about not getting in. I am already using my fall semester to take extra classes for my gpa because I did not get into any BSN programs. Houston's BSN programs are really competitive so I understood why I could not get in but, I don't want to waste any more time. It really sucks when everyone is getting into programs while i'm just taking gpa boosters. My gpa is at a 2.8 and I got a 82 for my HESI score.

Thank you!

Really i thought it was the day of the orientation cause it already say past due on castle branch

Well if you have it I am guessing. ...well just e mail them about it:)

I was told by both North and Central they would like everything completed before orientation including physical and you needed printed copies of items completed after application brought to orientation. Well, at least that is what I was told when I contacted them because I was concerned my physical was showing overdue. I forfeited my spot at Central since I picked North Campus but I had everything completed in Castlebranch for both Central and North.

I also forfeited my spot at central since i got accepted to north campus spring 2017, i was told that physical and castlebranch had to be completed prior to orientation with the exception of the hep b series (if you had to get the shots and then titers) but that has to be completed by orientation

SU-RN when did you do your tb test i did mine in april

I think around August.

I think around August.

I will call my MD to have it done again so it doesnt expire during clinicals. have you gotten your uniforms and stuff? i have gotten the uniforms, shoes, stethoscope and also blood pressure cuff. i ordered my books but im kinda confused is the fundamentals bundle all the books we need or are they other books

I looked up the books but have not purchased them yet, but I did purchase one set of uniforms. Have you received anything for the Fast Pass for BON? For some reason I received one to complete for Central but not the North Program.

I havent gotten anything for fast pass but i turned in my blue card that i got in the mail since i did my fingerprints when i got accepted at central

Sooooo, through a roller coaster weird turn of events, I just received my acceptance letter!!! Could anyone help walk me through what I need to do? I *think* i just scheduled an appointment for fingerprinting, but am not 100% certain I did the right thing. Any help greatly appreciated!

For central or north?

central campus usually puts the steps to enroll for the fingerprinting attached to the email

North Campus has a back log and they are waiting for fingerprint information

Central. I got the instructions but they were a little confusing. The appointment I have is for Board of Nurse Examiners. Is that correct? I also missed the orientation that was on the 12th because I just got my letter today. It stated in the letter that I would be given an alternate date but what do I need to do in the meantime? Physical, flu shot..what else?

Physical, flu shot if you havent gotten it and also they want a passport size picture. I declined my acceptance at central because i got accepted at north and its closer to my house.
