san jac adn program spring 2017

Hello!

I have just applied and, I just wanted to know if anyone has also applied and what are your gpas and hesi scores? I am really nervous about not getting in. I am already using my fall semester to take extra classes for my gpa because I did not get into any BSN programs. Houston's BSN programs are really competitive so I understood why I could not get in but, I don't want to waste any more time. It really sucks when everyone is getting into programs while i'm just taking gpa boosters. My gpa is at a 2.8 and I got a 82 for my HESI score.

Thank you!

I applied for this session as well! From what I've heard/read HESI scores are the biggest factor in decisions. My scores/gpa are in the same ballpark as yours. Hopefully we'll be in the program together! North or central campus?

central. you? I hope we can both get in as well (:

Central as well! Do you have any prereqs in progress? I start micro today and it's my last one.

Nope but good luck with micro. I hope it's easy for you. I was trying to apply to a BSN program so I have extra credits for San Jac.

I also submitted my application, my hesi score was an 82.2 and my gpa is a 2.8. I hope this is enough to get accepted. I'm so anxious to know.

From what I've read of other sessions it will likely be quite a while before we know. í ½í¸•

hi everyone! I turned in my application last week. Did y'all have any problems uploading your immunizations through castle branch? I still have 2 things pending, and 1 requirement which is the physical examination (we submit that after acceptance).

my scores are:

sciences: 3.4

hesi: 82

overall: 3.3

Nope I didn't have a problem with castle branch. All I have left to submit is the flu shot. Which it wasn't season to get it. Also the physical which I won't get till I get my acceptance letter :)

I turned in my application in June and my transcript

my GPA is 3.11 currently

HESI score 93.7% (combined results i failed the grammar portion on the first attempt and retook the whole test)

my grades for pre reqs are

english 1301 B

A and P 1 B

A and P 2 B

Micro A

my only worry is that i have taken a and p 1 and 2 more than 5 years ago and made a D and then i also took micro in 2012 and failed. back then i was going through a really bad divorce soooo i am hoping they dont deny me based on that

I haven't had any issues everything has been turned in for me just waiting on acceptance letter supposedly they will not make you do physical until after you have been accepted

Those are awesome scores! If it was more than 5 years ago I don't see them holding it against you.
