Hi, all!

This is just a general discussion post for those who are looking to apply to sbvc's Spring of 2024 application. Here we can discuss the application process, total points accumulated for the application, TEAS, or any other topics that may help anyone else that might come across this post. Let's help each other out with some pointers and good luck to everyone. Looking forward to hearing back from some of you :)

I've thought about other private colleges but I have a hard time paying that much money and most of them could possibly not take all my GE's and want me to do their classes but they're super vague about it so that just doesn't work for me. She did tell me they are changing their acceptances and next application period will be different than this one but again I didn't get anymore info. Sorry, yeah I am disappointed too. I was so anxious all this time waiting 😞 Yes I wish my counselor told me that too. I could have re-taken some classes to fix my GPA this semester, the only class I'm taking right now is Pharmacology. My plan is to take pharm calculations and medical terminology over the Summer, that would boost me up but I don't know if it will be enough. I feel like I'm just stuck, I'm tired of taking pre-reqs. I am thinking about looking into APU I heard good things about that school or looking into RCC.

Do you guys know when we will most likely hear back from the nursing department about acceptances

I wouldn't be surprised if you start to hear back some time this week. Fall 2023 I got my email resection 10/23 and then Spring 2024 I got my acceptance email 4/15. I will say it looks like the magic number to get an acceptance email to take the TEAS is 47 so if you scored above a 47 I wouldn't be surprised if you get that acceptance email.

How was the program when you got accepted .I am also waiting to hear back from RCC

Less than a week. I got the email on like Tuesday and took my exam that Friday 😅
