Hard to tell about the benefits by looking at the offers.
3K relocation will cover that difference for 1 year. But yeah, it will take a long time to have a raise by $2/hr probably.
With Christus, the recruiter is not very helpful, she wasnt sure about the pay as far as differentials go (some palces here pay 2nd shift differential starting @3pm or 5pm), what ICU is it, what shift is (he didnt know if its days only for 16 weeks training or a full year). So, I dont know what my total shift pay would look like for each.
But, again, its not just the money. I want to stay at the place I choose and actually like it..

Hi everyone,
I recently got 4 RN residency offers in San Antonio , 2 with Methodist and 2 with CHRISTUS Health. I narrowed it down to Neurosurgical ICU at Methodist Main campus and ICU (recruiter could not specify what kind) at Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center.
I m very excited, ICU is my dream job, but I need your help to help me choose best one, as I am in a different state and unfamiliar with these hospitals.
Both are supposedly days , or at least until 16 weeks training is up, which I like. Methodist offers relocation bonus but Christus pays almost $2/hr more.. Christus hospital is a Magnet and Methodist one is well known for their neuro procedures.
Where do you think I would like it more as far as experience, friendly atmosphere, ability to move within the system, benefits?
Anything you can add/shine some light on, please do. Thank you!!!
