  1. Hello everyone, we created a facebook group for those admitted to Texas A&M Health Science Center FNP class of 2019, if you would like to join, welcome! Just search for TAMUHSC FNP Fall 2019 within facebook search. It is for both full time & part time tracks. See you there!
  2. Same exactly for me! I took the test today, it shut off after 75 questions, then all those research questions and review. Similar content. I feel like half of mine were SATA.. I just don't know how to feel about it. I got a good pop up and 91% first timers passing statistics, so these two things help me cope while waiting lol
  3. Can you please tell me why? I still havent made up my mind due to lack of info... Thank you!
  4. Could you please tell me what are the differentials? and what are the hours for them? The recruiter did not even know if they are applicable to the resident nurses. Thanks!!
  5. Hi, I m starting this residency in Feb 2018. I can not find any info on the differentials! Do you get them as a resident nurse? and if yes, how much and starting what hour? Thank you!!!
  6. I do not know, sorry. I was told that the official offers will go out next week.
  7. Could you tell me more as to why? I would really appreciate it, it's a 3 year long commitment. Thank you!
  8. Hard to tell about the benefits by looking at the offers. 3K relocation will cover that difference for 1 year. But yeah, it will take a long time to have a raise by $2/hr probably. With Christus, the recruiter is not very helpful, she wasnt sure about the pay as far as differentials go (some palces here pay 2nd shift differential starting @3pm or 5pm), what ICU is it, what shift is (he didnt know if its days only for 16 weeks training or a full year). So, I dont know what my total shift pay would look like for each. But, again, its not just the money. I want to stay at the place I choose and actually like it..
  9. Could you tell me more? Thank you!
  10. Hi everyone, I recently got 4 RN residency offers in San Antonio , 2 with Methodist and 2 with CHRISTUS Health. I narrowed it down to Neurosurgical ICU at Methodist Main campus and ICU (recruiter could not specify what kind) at Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center. I m very excited, ICU is my dream job, but I need your help to help me choose best one, as I am in a different state and unfamiliar with these hospitals. Both are supposedly days , or at least until 16 weeks training is up, which I like. Methodist offers relocation bonus but Christus pays almost $2/hr more.. Christus hospital is a Magnet and Methodist one is well known for their neuro procedures. Where do you think I would like it more as far as experience, friendly atmosphere, ability to move within the system, benefits? Anything you can add/shine some light on, please do. Thank you!!! Jane
  11. Let's do this :)
  12. I got mine through Heart to Heart CPR - Home and if you mention that it is for UTHSC and you ll get $5 off. I think it was $80 or so and took about 30 mins. I m not sure about pre-orientation. When is the actual orientation? If I remember correctly, sometime in June?
  13. Can you imagine, the acceptance letter was in my Spam folder!!! lol I am so relieved! See you at orientation, girls
  14. Thank you! I am just hoping there won't be any unexpected issues. I know we all worked hard to get here so it would be nice to just know for sure! Anyway, they should inform me either way :) I m hoping to join you ladies and be in the same class! I bet you are having a celebration right now! I know I would have one haha
