San Antonio Spring 2013

I just applied for the spring 2013 semester. Can anyone shed some light as to what kind of GPA I should be carrying... Right now I have a 3.0 with all of my pre reqs completed... If you don't mind me asking what was your current GPA and course completion for those of you that were accepted?

Hi, for all who were accepted for Spring 2013...did you have all of your prereqs finished and what were your GPA's?

Yep all pre reqs were completed I had a 3.1 GPA I start flex 1

I had every prerequisite completed except for ethics,which im doing now. My composite score was a 6.8 and gpa is a 3.7

i am taking ethics along with lifespan and development, but for those who will be applying for fall, i think they are going to require that all prereqs be completed when applying.

Hey all, I was also accepted into the spring 2013 Flex I nursing program. Had all of my prereqs finished (barely, took micro during the summer haha) and a 4.0 gpa. So very excited! There is a lot to be done before school starts though, do yall know if we get to choose our instructors this semester? Since we have to register in person... also, do we have to get a certain brand of scrubs? Or style? Congrats everyone, for getting in! Now for the hard part...

And they do offer nursing courses during the summer. Not just the second part of the semester so that flex II can catch up but also the lecture and clinical that goes with pharmacology. You can look at the nursing classes offered last summer through web services :) I plan on doing that to try to graduate a semester early.

Congratulations andeee!! i also took micro in the summer! Hahaha! I don't believe we get to choose our instructers the first semester but i think we can for the rest. Im not too sure about brand of scrubs but theres a list on the department website. If you get more info on summer courses please let me know and congrats again! :)

I just found out today I was accepted into the SAC nursing program! I'm really nervous because there's so much to get done before I start. I'll be in flex 2...anyone else starting then?

Can someone tell me if there are new uniforms for 2013? I heard rumors but not to sure.

Hi Angie! :). I too, start in Flex II. Maybe we'll have classes together :) Congrats to you and everyone on here :). I'm almost ready to turn in my packet. All I'm waiting on is blue post card from the background check. Have you received yours yet? If so was it quick? I took mine on the 5th and it hasn't arrived yet...it's making me nervous. Lol ..and I have no criminal record!! Lol
