Hi! Thanks for starting this thread. I applied June 19th and NursingCas verified my application July 1st. I had no idea they moved the date so far away. It really causes some confusion because that's so close to the start date of class. I'm hoping it's something like low submittal or something and the ones who applied early/on time get answers in July August like you said. Please post if you hear anything! Thanks and good luck ❤️
Hi, thank you for starting this thread! I was waiting for one about Spring 2026 to pop up. I applied in mid June for the San Mateo cohort and also saw the deadline was pushed when updating an in-progress prerequisite grade. I emailed one of the admissions counselors and they said that if we applied around this time, we should hear back before November. However when I asked them for a timeframe of when we could possibly hear back, they said to just check back with them around September. So fingers crossed and good luck to everyone!

Hi! I applied for San Mateo as my first choice and Sacramento as my second choice. My stats are:
- Last 60 unit GPA: 3.42
- Prerequisite GPA: 3.71
- Science GPA: 3.83
I have healthcare experience taking care of my family member with a tracheostomy and g-tube. I also attended the Nursing Success seminar and a couple nursing outreach programs.

Hey all,
Starting this thread for anyone applying to Samuel Merritt ABSN program Spring 2026 (Sacramento campus). If you wish to share your experiences and updates, please post here.
I did attend one of the Sacramento on-campus orientation sessions in May and was told that prospective students might hear back end of July or August, but given the deadline push it seems unlikely now. I reached out to SMU but received a very non-committal and vague feedback on what to expect... basically "hurry up and wait" sort of response.
Looking forward to hearing from others who are applying to this cohort - please chime in!
