Checklist is under the account that was created using your personal email, the one that was emailed originally confirming your admission from IT.

Keep at it... lot's can happen in the next 3 months. I was talking with a current ABSN student and they were waitlisted until the week before the classes started last Spring. Good luck!

Your admissions email (mine was sent this morning) from the Dean of Admissions specifies the deadline... should be 9/30/25 ?

make sure you use the u.n./pass from the email was sent to you, not the OKTA one My question is regarding the $350 initial deposit... 2026 Spring program isn't even listed as an option in the dropdown.

Got mine... just now... you guys had my anxiety up for the past 30 min, but the emails are here. Pretty sure this is a path to acceptance now. I applied to Sac campus for 2026 ABSN.

Nothing here either. Based on comments from students in previous years, I'd say we're all looking at October or later to hear anything.

@ShayShan Thanks for the update! Mind sharing a few more details? Was this for Sacramento campus and did you hear this from an enrollment counselor? Rolling admissions... interesting, thought they'd have to wait for a critical mass of applicants to submit first.

Hi all, Would anyone care to provide feedback (and offer quick ranking maybe?) on which RN program prerequisites you found MOST/LEAST helpful and important, now that you are in the program? I have at least another 6 months before program start and would like to revisit and put additional time into whatever might help with upcoming courses (looking at ABSN program at SMU specifically). last 60 = 4.0 prerequisites = 3.86 science = 4.0 Have the needed MA/healthcare hours, etc. Submitted my application in May and it was Verified first week of June. But, no updates on the application since, so still in the waiting pattern.

Hey all, Starting this thread for anyone applying to Samuel Merritt ABSN program Spring 2026 (Sacramento campus). If you wish to share your experiences and updates, please post here. I applied early June when the deadline was July 1st Application deadline was subsequently moved to July 15th sometime in mid-June Few days ago it was moved out all the way to Nov 15th I did attend one of the Sacramento on-campus orientation sessions in May and was told that prospective students might hear back end of July or August, but given the deadline push it seems unlikely now. I reached out to SMU but received a very non-committal and vague feedback on what to expect... basically "hurry up and wait" sort of response. Looking forward to hearing from others who are applying to this cohort - please chime in!
