Samuel Merritt University MSN FNP Summer 2012

I applied for MSN FNP for summer 2012 and just wondering when will they start sending acceptance/denial letters. I'm on the edge of my seat since I mailed my application. Anyone out there who has the same situation?? I cannot wait to get this over with. :/

If you don't mind what is your work experience/volunteer exp for whoever applied for the same program. and do they only really accept 24 students??!!

Also, @Militarywife04 do you have facebook? We should add each other if so.

She didn't say how often we'd meet... They're still organizing the schedule. She said it would be on Saturdays. I'd like to know how much group work is required. They are also switching the current online program from blackboard to something else. Next year will focus on 3 semesters of clinicals. How'd you find out you were accepted? I haven't received any mail yet she just told me the day of the interview :) find me on fb...Nerissa Hunter... My page image is a lil girl with red heels. Also she said you get 20% discount for DNP if you choose that route.

Omygod. I found out yesterday my transcripts and rec letters were missing! They asked me to fax copies asap to be reconsidered! This sucks!! Good job you guys! I hope il still make the cut :( so frustrating

I would call the fnp department. Some ppl still back out right before class starts so you still have a chance!! Good luck :)

Ugh! They said they forwarded my application and have not heard anything since then. Who interviewed you? Is it the director of admissions or the person assigned to the specific program? Thanks!

The person who interviews is the director of the FNP program. I hope everything works out for you!

I was interviewed by the director. They accept unofficial transcripts for admissions. If you kept copies of everything just resend it. Did they get your application fee?

Yeah they charged it long time ago. Anyway, i emailed them again, hopefully they dont get annoyed. When will classes start for fnp do you guys know?

For Oakland campus full time hybrid its supposed to start first week in May.

Ladies, I got into the sac campus in the fall... Not the hybrid curriculum. Just found out today. Happy but was not looking forward to driving... Hehe
