Hello, I’m wondering who’s applying for program SMU the deadline is on December 1, 2021. To get into the fall semester of the following year? Just trying to create a thread.

Search “admitted students portal” on their website. If you make an account with your nursingcas email it should (theoretically) display your acceptance status under the checklist tab before the emails are sent. However it’s not a super reliable way of finding out because it can be updated after the emails are sent

Still says submitted and under review in my portal! This wait has me on the edge of my seat! Best wishes to all!!

Just called admissions and they stated that decisions will all be done by tomorrow, end of business.  So if nothing is emailed today, we will know by tomorrow.  Thats too long! LOL I’m too anxious!

Hi everyone,

I’m a current student at SMU and got int Spring 2022. You can use the portal to find out “earlier” but I know when we were waiting. I know mine refreshed the night before the date they extended. Like like today for you guys, our decision date was pushed back when they said they would release decisions. 

I know that doesn’t make things better and you’ll probably refresh your email and portal non-stop tonight. I think I refreshed my email and portal hundreds of times leading up to when decisions were supposed to be mailed out. 

Stay positive and hope to meet the incoming cohort soon! Once you get in, you’ll have A LOT of paperwork but don’t worry we have great advisors like Shawna to get you through the process. 

Brush up on micro, physiology and anatomy over the Summer. Enjoy your Summer but brushing up on this info will help you be prepared! 

Anyway, goodluck and hope to meet you guys in the Fall!!

Hello current student thanks for the information! Also Jw what is the level of difficulty would you say? Have people not passed? Sorry anxiety! Jw also how many hours a day do you study…..
