Hello, I’m wondering who’s applying for program SMU the deadline is on December 1, 2021. To get into the fall semester of the following year? Just trying to create a thread.

Just got the email.. I’m #6 on the waitlist! They accept 5-10 people so I should be good right??

That’s weird, it doesn’t even say they’re reviewing your application? I would just wait for the email and if you don’t hear back then contact them. Did you get the preliminary review email?

Yeah I got the preliminary review email back at the beginning of February. Thanks for the help! I figured if I don’t hear tomorrow, I’ll call them?

After refreshing my email nonstop yesteday, I signed up for the admitted students program using the email I provided in NursingCAS and it says I am admitted. However, when I signed up for the portal I got an email that says that the Admitted Student Portal is for admitted students only (which worries me because it does not say applicants). I clicked the letter of intent to accept or decline the offer and it asked me for a username and password, I used the same ones that I used to log in (I triple-checked) and it keeps telling me that I am using an unrecognized username and password. My worry is that this portal automatically tells you you have been admitted, but I am not sure. Any former applicants who can share their experience?

I don’t think it would automatically some people got either a waitlist or still being reviewed?

Also it gave me smu portal ID and email so I’ll be following the instructions to activate it.

No by default it will say “your application is currently being reviewed”. If it says you were admitted then you were actually admitted. I am on the waitlist so it says I am on the waitlist for this program. Don’t worry it seems like you did everything right!

Okay after the delay, I finally got my email this morning around 8:30 am that I have been accepted! Thanks for all the help & I look forward to meeting you all!

Previous cohorts have made facebook groups for admitted students. Has anyone made one for this cycle yet?

Just got the admit email! I'm happy to get in, but I'm going to decline since I found out yesterday I got into the SFSU program so that should open up a spot for one of you.  Congrats and good luck guys!

Congrats on your decision! Which SFSU program did you get accepted into? I applied to the ELMSN program and I am waiting to hear back!

Is anyone else having trouble getting into their SMU? It keeps saying my password is incorrect but im putting it exactly like it is in the email I received.. Side not, cant wait to meet you all soon!
