I took the TEAS and they allow a blank piece of scratch paper! I don't think you are allowed to use your own calculator, but they provide an online calculator throughout the entire test. You are supposed to rip up the paper in front of your proctor after finishing the test.

Good question, that's what I was thinking too! I don't want to make stuff up.
I don't necessarily think you need a lot of life experiences or hardships. Personally, I am only 20 years old and I barely experienced life yet!
It's cliche, but I think it's super important to dig deep and show them why you are unique and stand out from the rest of the applicants. It's great if you have the stats they are looking for, but beyond your GPA and experience, what do you have to offer them? Why would you be a good candidate to represent their school and values? I think framing your goal statements around this could reveal a lot about your character and the potential you have as a future SMU nurse. I'm sorry! I'm not sure if this was helpful in any way, but these are just some of the questions I ask myself while writing my goal statements. ?

OK great!! Do you know if formulas/conversions are provided?

If it is really challenging, then yes! For example, they would give you the formula if they wanted you to find the volume of a cylinder or something. The math section was the easiest in my opinion because I still recall these types of problems from high school. The majority of the problems involved percentages and fraction conversions! There were a few proportion questions as well.

Samuel Merritt definitely looking for Healthcare experience besides minimums requirement. When I asked to feed back from Shawna for rejection my application. She replied, due to highly competitive cycle, many highly qualified applicants were not admitted. Quote "Do you have healthcare experience?" so, Its very clear that healthcare experience really boost your application and make you strong candidates.
Form Spring 2021thread, mostly healthcare experience candidates got selected who work in hospital or healthcare center despite they don't volunteer hours and not excellent stats.
My stats:
Pre requisite 3.7
Science ; 3.8
Associates degree in science n arts, academic honor
TEAS - 84%, not sure if I want to boost up my score because stats is not everything thats what I observed in pervious thread.
Volunteer hours in healthcare experience 350..
Have LOR - healthcare n science professor.

I reached out to -------------------- to get some feedback on my application and was given a very generic response. Similar to yours. It came across as if she didn't even read my first email to her because I listed my stats and her response was to check if it meet the minimum requirements. Not very helpful. Is there another counselor we can talk to besides her?
