From what the brochure says it's only a handful.

"Family Nurse Practitioners provide primary care across a patient's life span, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, and management of health problems. Each ELMSN cohort enrolls 48 students—24 into FNP and 24 into Case Management. Sep 27, 2022"

Did anyone ask during their interview how many applicants are accepted?

On their website it shows stats for 2020. 305 applications submitted, 54 accepted applicants, and then they chose 24 for the program. But it would be great if someone could ask how many applicants were accepted this time around in their interview tomorrow!

Accepted applicants as in those who were invited to the interviews?

Did you apply for both the CM and FNP programs?

Ya, ABSN, CM, and FNP. ABSN accepted me, CM offered an interview which I decided not to pursue, and FNP did not email

Oh I didn't know you could apply to all programs at the same time for Samuel Merritt.

Did you decide to accept your spot for the ABSN program?

That is also what I am confused about. I am nervous about my interview tomorrow. Now knowing the low acceptance rate I am really doubting myself.

Yep you can! Yes I think I'm gonna accept SMU ABSN. I had two other interviews in SoCal for ABSN/ELMSN but I guess I bombed the interviews 😭 I really wanted to move to LA for a change of scenery but it's OK, I'm glad I still got accepted to something!

Good job though for getting accepted! Aww were they group or individual interviews?

I went through the interview for FNP and it honestly wasn't like an interview, but more like a group activity and introduction. You can also learn more about the program and faculty members as well as current students there. Have fun with it!

Thanks! CSUF used kira talent IDK if you're familiar with that but they gave us 4 questions and we had to record ourselves into the camera with 1 minute prep time and 1.5 minute automatic timer so we didn't speak to any live person lols, and at WesternU we were interviewed by 3 faculty members and they asked a total of 7 questions. I was pretty nervous for both of them and don't think I spoke fluidly enough. Western gave me an alternate spot and I think CSUF is an outright rejection no waitlist. I was pretty bummed because I prepared for those exact questions on kiratalent for CSUF yet was still nervous. Wish I practiced more 😭
