Hello!

I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

Hope you are all staying safe during this crazy time!

To those who've been accepted to the San Mateo campus: Do you mind sharing your stats, volunteer experience etc.? Congratulations!

I had 2 in progress as well but got in. You never know!

Congrats everyone!! I also got in!! I can’t believe it. I saw all the messages in heat blowing up on my email at work and I had to check—went outside on my break and starting crying. 
 

For my stats, my science GPA wasn’t the greatest (somewhere in the 3.3-3.4 range) but my GPA overtime at my UC gradually improved which I think they look at in terms of trends. I did have decent volunteer experience, about 250 hours at a hospital with hands on patient care, I am also CNA and CPT licensed. I had 3 classes in progress and eventually just one after I updated (currently still in the last class-nutrition.) hope this is helpful for those reconsidering reapplying!!’

now, to figure out financial aid LOL

 

anyone else waiting to hear back from other schools? I applied to USF MEPN program as well and I believe we hear back on the 10th.

Congrats to everyone that got in! Did you guys make an account on the admitted students portal prior to being accepted and check that way? Or did you get a specific email saying accepted?

Did you get accepted to San Mateo or Sac? Also, were your two prereqs set to be done in Dec?
