I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

I’m wondering if they also send rejection letters or you don’t get anything at all if you’re not accepted? The only reason I ask is because I’m not very confident with my application since I still have 2 in progess classes. I would understand if they prioritize applicants who completed all prerequisites already. It would be great if I get in though. LOL!

Has anyone received an acceptance email yet? For anyone that’s been waitlisted at either location, does it say waitlisted when you sign into the portal?

if anyone got accepted and applied in May 1 can you please let me know. I’m a little nervous that there is a high chance that may 1 applicants might have not been merged as promised with the July 1 applicants ?

I wonder if the portal was updated tonight or earlier today. Of course just letting my mind make up a dozen stories right now. ????‍♀️

Do all the acceptances get sent out at once? Did anyone in the SAC campus get their acceptance later than others?

I applied to ABSN (San Mateo)  program and ELMSN (Sac) . I got accepted to ABSN and waitlisted for ELMSN .

@Lia congratulations! That’s so amazing. Did you receive an email yet? Do you think they updated the portal tonight? Like had you checked earlier? Sorry for all the questions. So much uncertainty.

It was definitely updated tonight. I had checked earlier. No email yet. Assuming that will come tomorrow.

@klk1333 thank you! I think they are updating it now, I have been checking every hour. No I havent received an official email yet.
