I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

When you go to the login page on nursing cas theres a tiny message to left the side that asks you if you want to switch to the 20-21 application cycle! Took me forever to figure this out the first time! You might have to log out and then log back in to get to this page!

Hi everyone,

Just wondering but has anyone who put Sac as their first choice not heard back from them yet (acceptance/waitlist/denial)?
I'm just wondering if they're releasing acceptances in waves or this was it and they're just waiting to hear back if students accept the spot and then pull from the waitlist? I noticed there were only 10 students so far in the Sac facebook group too!

I did!! I was wondering if it means that I’m not gonna be accepted for Spring...

I wouldn’t worry. It seems like a lot of people were confused and could not access the right application for next cycle... They probably figured they should just send a general email to inform everyone so they stop receiving questions about it.

I think (am hoping) it was a general info email because so many people have been confused with accessing the NursingCAS application for the next year so they wanted to emphasize it’s in the 2020-2021 application cycle.

It’s a general email. I am already accepted and I got it too so I wouldn’t worry about it. Just wait for the emails from office of admissions, those are the important ones. Good luck!
