Hello!

I didn't see a thread for the SMU absn Spring 2021 cohort so I just wanted to start one!

I'm currently in the process of applying right now and working on my personal statements!

Anyone else have issues seeing if their app is in review on the portal? Or is just me?

when I go to check list it just states the SMU COVID-19 Update

Which campus did u apply to? I think SM doesn’t know yet

I applied to SM -but I don’t even see anything about my application in the check list section.

Has everyone that believes they’ve been accepted via the portal received an email of acceptance already? I don’t get the whole portal thing LOL.

Keep scrolling down, you should see the a big circle with a paper inside and underneath it'll say your first choice program and campus. And underneath all that it should say Congratulations or Your application is being reviewed in small letters. It's easier for me to see it when I am using my phone.

I did get the acceptance email for the Sacramento campus. I will be attending another school so my spot should open up for someone! ? Best of luck to you all!!

That is weird, but yeah you'll just have to wait for the official. I hope they start sending out acceptances for the San Mateo campus this week too!

I believe someone in this chat spoke to San Mateo on Monday and they said 7-10 more days. But yes hopefully they speed things up ? 

Does anyone know, was it 300+ applicants to all campuses or just San Mateo? 

And the 48 spots are just San Mateo or all 3? Thanks so much

Hey ya'll! I haven't been participating too much on this thread but I got accepted to the Sac Campus! I already began at another program back in August and plan to continue in the program I'm in, so it'll open another spot at the Sac Campus. For those of you asking about stats and GPA. At the time of my application I had an overall GPA of 3.6, all A's and B's in prerequisites! Hopefully that helps, and its proof that if you have a few B's sprinkled in you can still receive an acceptance!! Highly recommend you apply again if you didn't get in this time around!
