Hi everyone. I wanted to start a discussion about the ABSN Samuel Merritt program for Fall 2023. I have applied to the Sacramento campus and hoping to get accepted. has anyone else applied? or be in the program I would love to hear more about it.

Hello everyone thanks for your well wishes im very excited! the email said:

Hi __________,

My name is _________ with the Office of Admission at Samuel Merritt. I called your cell number but was not able to reach you.

If you are receiving this email, you have been offered admission off the waitlist to the Fall 2023 ABSN cohort at the San Mateo campus starting November 10th, 2023.

Before I can admit you in our system, please provide an update on the status of the following prerequisite course requirements:

·       Chemistry w/ lab

·       Pathophysiology

·       Pharmacology

(In order for you to be able to start the ABSN program in November, all of the above courses must be complete with a grade of "C" or better by or before August 31, 2023. You must also send your official transcripts with final grades for these classes immediately after you have completed these courses)

Please reply back with your response and decision as to whether you would like to accept the offer of admission to the Fall 2023 ABSN cohort in San Mateo by or before 12pm, Friday June 30th.

@Bubbles7Thank you so much, I hope you get in too! There seems to be decent movement on the waitlist, and if not, I am sure you will get in for January because they prioritize returning applicants, but hopefully you get in for this one!

Hi everyone!

So today is the second day of the Nursing success seminar for me! Just wanted to let those know that one of the advisors said that those who have applied for the Fall 2023 (June 1st especially) decisions/ emails should have been sent out already. But there are few students that they are still reviewing! So there's hope if you're still waiting. But also make sure you have everything submitted as anything missing can put your app on hold or held back. Also make sure to check spam/ junk folder!

@Veronica PHello thanks for this update, unfortunately I cannot attend the nursing success seminar, do you think after you finish it you can fill this thread in on what was covered over this seminar? it would be greatly appreciated

hey did u get in to the fall 2023 for sac ? And also do u have to interview for the sac ABSN or no? Since I heard San Mateo doesn't need an interview
