Samuel Merritt University ABSN Fall 2023

Hi everyone. I wanted to start a discussion about the ABSN Samuel Merritt program for Fall 2023. I have applied to the Sacramento campus and hoping to get accepted. has anyone else applied? or be in the program I would love to hear more about it. 

@mnsmith I'm sure another program would accept you. SMU still has Spring '24 due on the 1st and their Summer I and II programs as well. If you don't mind me asking, what were your stats? 

@fw-futurenurse-11 Program starts in November! I forget if it's this forum, but many current and past students have mentioned issues and their complaints about the school

I just received the email that I was waitlisted for the Fall 2023 San Mateo Cohort as well. I'm first on the waitlist and really hoping I get in. For those who were accepted, what is the deadline to submit your letter of intent and payment? I'm hoping that after that deadline passes, we will be updated on whether we moved up on the waitlist.

TEAS - 79 (I figured I would have better odds with this since it was optional but I think this weighs heavily)

I know it's in November I believe the the 13th but I have attached an academic calendar so you can see the dates.

I feel you on the A and P I am finishing the last part of a 3 part series (quarter system) this week and I am barely hanging on to a B

11/10 based off their current academic calendar on the website.

I was also waitlisted for San Mateo Fall 2023. I'm not gonna hold my breath so I'm gonna apply for Spring 2024 ?

Hello 

I applied for the sac ABSN for fall 2023 and was put on waitlist number 6 out of 20. Realistically what are my chances at getting an interview ?

Patho - in progress

coms 7- in  progress

 

im not sure if I got waitlisted cuz I have these in progress but I also have medical experience soo I'm really nervous cuz I thought I would've got in

they sent out decisions,

were you able to get in?

I got waitlisted 6/20 so I'm not sure if I will get in later on

Hey guys quick update yesterday I was told I was #5 out of 12 on the waitlist. Today I received an offer for admission for the San Mateo Cohort. So for those on the waitlist there is hope
