Samuel Merritt SMU ELMSN FNP Spring 2020

Hello fellow applicants. It's been 3 weeks since the submission deadline and I'm getting nervous?. I don't think this cycles' group has been made so I assume no one has been invited to an interview yet. Best of luck to us all?

I believe they do too! The CM option gives one on one interviews. She barely looked at my folder and it was conversational. My interview lasted over an hour and another girl who interviewed with the same lady, said her interview was about 10-20 minutes. So, I’m unsure.

Congrats! Okay I guess I’ll just wait and see. It doesn’t seem like they do multiple rounds of interviews. Hopefully I’ll at least get into the ABSN.

The ABSN does not conduct interviews. Supposedly we should know anywhere between mid October to nov. 1

At the end of our FNP interview yesterday, we were told that ELMSN FNP decisions would be sent out this week.

I'm with you, the wait is painful. Almost there! I go back and forth on how I felt I did in the interview. Oh well, what's done is done! Good luck to all, hopefully they decide to send out emails sooner than the week they said it would be.

Sounds like my interview went similar to yours. I interviewed at the Sacramento Campus with LisaMarie (Lisa) and it lasted about an hour. She was super sweet. I LOVED that it was 1-on-1. It gave me a chance to shine for a whoooolllllle hour lol. We talked about my future career goals, family, coming back to Samuel Merritt for my doctorate etc. It went really well. But this wait is TORTURE lol!!

Does anyone have specifications on how many people were interview for the FNP or CM program? How many seats are available for each program? I’m so excited and scared to get the results of my interview. I think I did well but I always doubt myself after the fact. I never know what type of person they are looking for. The group interview is always difficult because you never know how much you should talk or not. Hopefully I did well enough to get into one program.

I interviewed for the CM program. The lady that I interviewed with said that there are 24 spots available for CM and 24 for NP. She said that CM and NP will go through the 1st 4 semesters together and then we will split off into our cohorts of 24 after that. I’m not sure how many people they interviewed total hmmmm. Did you interview for both programs?
