2010 Samuel Merritt Oakland ELMSN-FNP applicants?

Hey all:

I've been reading the forums for a while and I hadn't seen any discussion specific to the SMU ELMSN-FNP program in Oakland. I'm getting ready to submit my application...anybody else out there? I'd love to chat with other folks!

Been pretty nervous..not sure what to expect..so it makes it worse..haha..

do you know any specifics about the interview process? or anything for that matter about it..haha

how are you feeling about it?

I'm feeling a little nervous also, but that's to be expected. We just gotta think of it not as nervousness, but excitement!

Yea..I'm pretty excited to meet everyone! Should be a fun day from what I've read in other forums..the interview process is pretty unique and different..haha

I'm nervous just like the rest of you. Interviewing in a couple days. I only got an email but no call. I wonder if it makes a difference. The only time i talked to them was to call to confirm my appointment. What did they say to you guys when they called for interviews?

I also got the email invitation last week for this coming Saturday, which I think is the first interviewing date? Surprised to learn that others got a personal call...

WillMak--From the Sac 2010 forum, it looks like u declined your offer of acceptance to try for Oakland. I wonder if the interviewing process is the same for both campuses.

I got a call this past Tuesday to set up an interview for Saturday. She didn't say anything else on the phone that wasn't interview related. So perhaps they call potential interviewees this week since Saturday is coming up so soon?

Hey it was really nice meeting you today Pink Duckie! I got the early acceptance call today, and will be hoping you receive it as well. I thought everyone that was at our interviews today was extremely friendly and easy going. I'm hoping everyone that I got a chance to talk with today gets in as well :)
