I read through all pages of the Fall 2014 and 2013 versions of this thread, and found it very helpful and reassuring to see fellow applicants statistics. I couldn't find one for Fall 2015 and would like to start one. I'm hoping to pull some data together for Fall 2015 so that we know where we are and get a better idea of our chances of getting into the program.
We could also help each other out and create a 'bond' over the celebration of acceptance and the depression of rejection on this thread. It's about to be a worldwind of emotion over the next few months. Happy application process!!
This thread is to keep lively and healthy our obsessions, curiosities, and heightened but needless anxieties about our own wishes to become a competent FNP and our perceived expectations that others may be "better" at it. So, as is tradition plus few added items:
I applied to the CM program and apparently they sent all the decision notices last week. I didn't even get an email from them.. I found out after the admissions person called me yesterday to ask if I had questions regarding the decision and offer. If you haven't heard back, I highly suggest calling them.
Thank bffvr5! I called and found out I didn't get in, apparently emails should be sent out to everyone already. So just like bffvrd5 mentioned, if you haven't gotten a reply yet, you should really call. Good luck to everyone that is waitlisted and everyone that is deciding to reapply! Big congrats to everyone who have been accepted! :)
With yesterday being the deadline for accepted students to notify SMU about their offers, has anyone on the wait list received any updates? My wait list number is pretty high, but I wanted to know my chances before I accept another school's offer. Thanks!
