I will be re-applying for the ELMNS spring 2015 program at the sacramento campus. Is anyone also doing the same?

I just moved to Sac. Getting familiar with the area. What questions do you have?

Which areas should I be looking for to live? what are some safe areas that are close to the school? Im looking for studios. How much are studios there usually? Also, where do people there grocery shop? Trader Joes??

You may want to check out the Natomas area, but I'm not exactly sure of the proximity from the school, though I think it's not too far. I have family in South Sacramento and plan to commute from there. Not sure of the studio prices there. I'm not really familiar with what grocery stores are close to the school either, but I'm sure others will chime in. I don't think there are many places to shop in close proximity to the school though.

I was curious about that as well. I wonder what the male/female breakdown of our 28 person FNP class will be. I am male, so there's 1. :)

I recently moved to Natomas- it's a very nice quiet suburban area. I moved from the Bay Area and housing prices in Sacramento compared to the Bay are WAY lower. There is a Raleys and a Safeway 5 min away from my house. The school from Natomas is about a 15 min drive. Not bad. Downtown apts/studios may be a little more expensive.

I haven't received the official email yet but am eagerly awaiting it! I'm assuming it will probably come tomorrow. I was also accepted to the ABSN program and we received an email or two that had a lot of instructions (tuition deposit, shot records, health forms, CPR instructions) so I think we'll probably get something similar to that. And in terms of financial aid, they contacted us in a separate email for that with instructions for the FAFSA and how the process would work from here on out. I'm also assuming we'll get something similar to that soon. Hope this helps!
