Thanks for the tips Gokings, I really appreciate it! I've been looking over Pathophys and Pharm as a refresher but I'll definitely make sure to enjoy what time I have left for family/friends. I do have have one random question actually. For guys, what shoes would you recommend? A few of us were wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Do they have to be ALL white? And are sneakers allowed? Any info you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your help!

Thanks Gokings! I'll be starting the ELMSN FNP program in January and I was curious if we should review any material before starting. Is there anything you wish you would have looked over or prepared for beforehand?

I didn't get anything after the acceptance email (email detailing tuition deposit, background check, health forms, etc). Did you find our Facebook group, "bobbl"? The link is in this discussion

For those of you that didn't catch it earlier, there is a Facebook group for all the new ELMSN students (CM and FNP). One group for all of the candidates since we'll all be together for the first 18 months of the program. Search for "Samuel Merritt Sacramento 2015 ELMSN Class"

Exactly! That was my bad for creating a separate one at first. The other person in our group (can't use names on allnurses) reminded me that we'll all be together for a while so we changed it.

I did run into that same problem but I had someone from this thread send me a friend request to solve it. BUT, I updated the group I created to be for ALL ELMSN students since we will all be together during the prelicensure part of the program. The name of the group is "Samuel Merritt Sacramento 2015 ELMSN Class". Search that.

Newly admitted ELMSN-FNP candidates! I created a Facebook group for us called "Samuel Merritt Sacramento ELMSN-FNP 2018". You should just be able to search that and send a request to join.

I am in the process of trying to set up a Facebook group for the FNP class. Apparently you can't set up a Facebook group without inviting some current friends to it. Can one of the FNP candidates send me a private message so we can set this up? Translation: can someone be my friend? ;-)

I haven't received the official email yet but am eagerly awaiting it! I'm assuming it will probably come tomorrow. I was also accepted to the ABSN program and we received an email or two that had a lot of instructions (tuition deposit, shot records, health forms, CPR instructions) so I think we'll probably get something similar to that. And in terms of financial aid, they contacted us in a separate email for that with instructions for the FAFSA and how the process would work from here on out. I'm also assuming we'll get something similar to that soon. Hope this helps!

I was curious about that as well. I wonder what the male/female breakdown of our 28 person FNP class will be. I am male, so there's 1. :)

I got a call about an hour ago...FNP program here I come!!! Congratulations to everyone that's got in so far and good luck to everyone still waiting for a call! I can't wait to meet everyone at orientation! We should start a Facebook page or something! Hope to talk to everyone soon!

ELMSN FNP Candidates - I spoke to the admissions counselor today and she said they had one more person to interview and that they were hoping to have the class finalized tomorrow (09/26). I'm not sure if that means they will notify us tomorrow or not but it sounds like it will be pretty soon!

I didn't hear anything today either. Hopefully soon!
