Yes, I’m down to do that! I tried private messaging you but it won’t let me. ?(trying to figure out a way to connect with you without divulging my email and number here LOL)

My GPA and GRE are nothing to write home about but like I mentioned previously, I just tried to be well rounded. IDK if it helps but I tried to get my face out there at SMU. I attended diversity CRNA twice there, shadowed one of their classes, volunteered at one of their “programs” (can’t say too much about this but it got me the opportunity to work with the SMU CRNA faculties and a lot of CRNAs), and shadowed one of their CRNA faculties as well. LOL I hope that already shows how much I want to get into their program. ?
That is why SM is my top choice for school... grades are important but they really look at the overall picture of the applicant! Goodluck To us

Does anyone know what sort of interview questions are asked? I applied and haven't heard back yet, but I did well with grades and GRE and think it's enough to get an interview!

Hi!
I'm not too sure... but the admissions director was saying it's personality based and not clinical. So probably along the lines of "what's your strength/ weakness" type questions if I were to guess. I'm sure they'll ask why SMU and why CRNA as well, but those are just educated guesses.
How'd you do well on the GRE?? That test is something else! I'm thinking of retaking it in case I don't get in this year. Any recommendations on what you used to study? What did you score if you don't mind me asking?
Good luck prepping!

Hi Everyone!
Yup, still waiting to hear back. Went to SMU for nursing school so I'm really hoping they'll accept me for their CRNA program too. ? Currently sitting on the edge of my seat haha!
Best of luck to all of us!! ☺️

LOL I feel you on this. Last year I received the invitation to interview January 12 (Sunday, so exactly a year ago), so I’m expecting anytime this week. ?
My heart dropped when I saw your post in my email! The thread shows up as "Samuel Merritt CRNA" and I thought it was SMU. LOL
It's getting close!! The original email said decisions would go out on the 18th... feels like time us ticking backwards ?
Good luck everyone!
