@NCVICU

I didn't do well; I scored under a 300. But hopefully the rest of my stats gets me an interview. Have you asked for advice from the administration, it being your second time around applying?

It's pretty rough! Yeah, my science GPA wasn't the best so I had to go back and take Chem, bio, and physics to raise it. It's now at a 3.04.. so not that competitive, so hopefully things other than GPA get me an interview.  How is your science GPA? Are y'all applying elsewhere or just here?

I haaaaaateddd the GRE... reminded me of studying for the ACT in high school all over again! I did okay, I got above 300, which is what most schools are looking for.

My science GPA is pretty bad tho... but thankfully I've managed to get interviews elsewhere -- tells me that schools really look at the whole picture. I'm taking an online organic chem class at the moment to raise it. Thankfully my nursing school GPA is pretty decent.

I'm from Chicago, so I mostly applied to schools in my area. Samuel Merritt was like the only Cali school I applied to. Apps are so expensive... where are y'all applying?

When I took the GRE they were doing construction in the building... imagine hammering and power tools non-stop while trying to apply arcs and all that circle stuff. Don't know why they didn't have a disclaimer about the noise. The average last year was a 311 for the program... my 25 percentile for math is no where near that ?

That's awesome you were able to get interviews elsewhere! The CRNA profession seems awesome so wherever you go, it'll be great!

Are you taking O-chem at UNE online?  If you need more classes,  look into Portage Online.  It's pretty cheap for a self paced online course and they're not too difficult.

My husband is active duty Air Force,  so I'm only applying here. The plane he flys is only at a few bases so I'll apply this year and next if I need to. LOL

Did you get to do some shadowing in Chicago?

Your stats look impressive to me! If I were on the admissions committee,  you'd be a shoe in!

That's awesome you did a mission abroad!  Where'd you go and what organization did you go through?

That looks like an awesome organization! I bet it was a great experience.  Thanks for the info... if I don't get in this time around I plan on volunteering abroad.
