Samuel Merritt BSN Spring 2022

Hi everyone! 

I haven't seen anyone post about SMU's BSN program for Spring 2022 in Oakland. Is anyone applying? This is my first time applying and July 1st is coming up quick! 

Phase 2!!  Oct 26th for extra time reviewing!

Yes I got the email too that I am in phase two? And until October 26th they'll let us know ughhh with!

Yeah I just got the same email saying that my application has been forwarded to the second phase of the application process.

I can't believe they waited until almost 2pm to tell us! Like if they were so bogged down with applications, wouldn't they think to let us a know a little sooner?

Yes feeling grateful we are still in the running! Although it wasn't the response we were hoping for. In the meantime, we can relax a little bit before we go through this again LOL I'm definitely going to need a glass (or two) of wine after today ? Good Luck everyone!

Pretty much everyone moves to phase two which is why they email you if you need to fix parts of your application. We've all been in phase two for a while, I think they just said that so it doesn't sound as bad. On September 10th (from the timeline email they sent) "Completed and verified applications will move forward to the Nursing Department for Faculty review." So they just couldn't review everybody's app by the deadline.

One day to go! I hope they don't push the date again ? I think the date was pushed multiple times for the Spring 2021 Cohort. They didn't find out until early/mid November. Yikes!
