Hey All! I applied to SMU for the 2018 Fall BSN program. Just wanted to create this to see if anyone's gotten a confirmation email or (possibly) even heard back! Plus, I figured this could serve as a good outlet for my checking my email incessantly!
I was number 11 last round for spring 2018, then 7, then 2, and invited to attend orientation because there were two accepted students whom Shawna wasn't sure if they were going to show up. One did so they granted me automatic admission to Fall 2018!
I've been waiting on you all to join me since early January! Lucky to get a sneak peek of the first day of school. I was there all day!
We will have to take the cpr for blvd healthcare provider soon. Many go to San Ramon area for it - we can take a group trip for that. The fall class created a private Facebook group where they atare studying info, tips, tricks, and memes which is helpful - we will create one when school starts. I've been taking ASL 1 this semester if anyone knows sign language I would love to continue my journey with you! I am 35 and have 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, a fuckton of succulent plants, and just one husband see y'all soon and those on the waitlist it's a brutal waiting game. Number 11/63 and every couple of weeks I would get an update. By December break I was 4 I think. January 8 I was told i was number 2 and asked to go to orientation the next day. While I wasn't accepted the person ahead of me was. Don't give up hope and reapply as soon as it opens for he following semester if you're waitlisted. YoU get priority acceptance.

Congrats!!!
I'm also a mommy to one beautiful girl and a dog mom of two crazy pups lol I actually took ASL II and loved it. Planning to take more ASL classes to become "fluent", so we can definitely practice together! Can't wait to meet all of you!
So I just went on the live chat today and the admissions counselor said they'll be sending out decisions all this week. Some people have already gotten their admissions and rejections. She also said waitlists are usually last to be sent out so that will most likely be sent at the end of the week. So anxious!!
Fingers are crossed
