Hey All! I applied to SMU for the 2018 Fall BSN program. Just wanted to create this to see if anyone's gotten a confirmation email or (possibly) even heard back! Plus, I figured this could serve as a good outlet for my checking my email incessantly!

I've finished mine, you? Also, did anyone else receive the admissions email regarding completion of the preliminary round?

I got that same email! And i've finished all the science prereqs but i have 3 regular prereqs in progress right now

Hello all,

I applied for the fall semester as well. I've gotten two emails since i submitted my application. The first was on 1/23 regarding application review timeline and the second was on 1/28 confirming the preliminary review of my application. It gets exciting also nerve wrecking whenever i receive an email from SMU. Hopefully we all will receive good news next month.

Hi guys quick question. Has anyone started applying for scholarships yet or are you waiting until you get your admission decision? If you have how do you find these scholarships?

I've been browsing them using the Scholly app, no real luck as of yet. I've done my FAFSA; however, I'm a little worried that applying for the scholarships might get my hopes up too much haha. How about you?

I'm in the same both lol. I don't want to start looking until I know forsure. Have you gotten anymore emails from SMU? The last one I got was about them finishing the preliminary review of my application

None! I did sign onto the Monday chat though, and someone asked if the decisions would still be out by the 15th. According to the moderator they still expected them out by the 15th- 8 more days ahhhhh!

I applied for this spring, was waitlisted #13 and ended up #3 when the semester started.

Ugh how frustrating! Was the school super communicative during the process, letting you know when you moved up etc?
