So, the applications are due today (September 1st) for summer admission to ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. How does everyone feel about their application?? :up: :down: What campus did you apply to?

Has anyone received email confirmation from SMU that your app was received? Also, has your $50.00 check been cashed yet?

I checked out my bank account and didn't see that they cashed the check. I guess they are still sorting out the applications.

Hey everyone!!! The waiting is KILLING me! I'm so nervous about not getting accepted. How is everyone else doing with the waiting? Any word on when we will be finding out?

Welcome to the thread! I'm nervous too. I think we'll find out in about 3 months?! Seems like a long time =( Have you received any emails from Samuel Merritt? I have not received anything yet. I wonder why they won't email us to let us know that they have received our packets etc.

I received an e-mail today that my application is "In Progress" status meaning that it's ready to be evaluated. Nothing else.

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum. I've been trying to hide my nerves and excitement since the application deadline of 9/1/11, but I just received an email (look below) today saying that my application was in progress. I thought I'd hop on the forum and anxiously wait with you guys as well. Good luck to you all! I'm sure we'll all be meeting each other some time soon!

"Thank you for your application to the SMU ABSN SU 2012 program

Your application has passed the SMU Admission review and has been found in progress (IP). It will be further forwarded to the Nursing department for the next evaluation process."
