So, the applications are due today (September 1st) for summer admission to ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. How does everyone feel about their application?? :up: :down: What campus did you apply to?

LovePaws, I also chose San Mateo as my first choice. I hope that all of us hear back with good news this week. I don't know if I can stand another week of not knowing! :(

Haha I haven't even gotten in yet, but I hope I do so that I can meet you all! I feel that we have bonded so much over this forum. Thank you everyone for making me feel less anxious about everything. :hug:

Hi everyone. Good to hear from you all! Good luck for those who got accepted, I hope I'll get to meet you soon :-) I also have Oakland as first choice. No news for me either and my last name starts with F. I guess that they don't do the whole alphabetical order thing :-)I'll post again as soon as I have any news.Last time I talked to the secretary at SMU she said that they usually send letters for those who are not accepted. Hey Captain,

Thanks for the encouraging words... Let me ask you this. When you were waitlisted before, how long after did other people found out they were accepted did you find out that you were on the waitlist? Do they call you for something like that or email? Just curious now, since I am 99% sure I was not accepted, if I will be on the waitlist or if I will get a rejection letter in the mail. Congrats again!

If I can recall correctly, I waited about a month after those on here received they're acceptance notifications. If you get waitlisted don't feel defeated as I did, it will only waste your time and take you off path. As a heads up, two SMU student nurses at work told me that the regular track BSN had difficulties filling seats for Fall '11 or Spring '12.

i went ahead and emailed SMU and ask if calls were still being made today. Might as well get some closure if possible. Ill keep you posted if I get a response.

Hi everyone. Congrats to those who made it to the SF/Oakland programs! I have been following these posts to help keep me sane so thank you for all the updates. I am also waiting to hear back from San Mateo... so I will keep you all posted if I hear anything. Good luck!

Calls are still being made!!!!!!!!!! I just got a call and was accepted to Oakland! They had to confirm something which held up the calls.
