Hello!
I'm new to this site, but have been following the allnurses posts regarding Samuel Merritt program applications religiously for a while now. I recently applied to the ABSN and ELMSN - FNP program for the July 1 deadline. Thought it would be great to have a place to provide insight, stay updated and share experiences with all of you through this terrifying journey. I mean we ONLYYY have to wait until October - November to hear anything. Let the wait begin.....
Looking forward to hearing from you all :)
I was wondering if anyone would be able to answer my question! I am submitting my app for summer 2019 soon, but my english class is in progress and I have patho/pharm planned for spring. Since the deadline is before my English class is completed and before I've taken patho/pharm, what should I do about the transcripts for those classes? Do I just resend the transcripts straight to samuel merritt after?
Thanks to anyone who can answer my question! :)
Hi! I took the HESI twice and the first time I took I passed with high scores, the second I took it I didn't do as well, due to a car break in that happened to me the night before. Does anyone know if you have to provide both scores or can I just provide one? It's says on the website they look at the highest of your scores.

Ksampat, when applying on nursing cas just input your highest scores from either test. I went to the information session, and the counselors said they take the highest score from each part of the test, and recalc your total average score. If you did worse on every single section, then I'd stick with the original results. I don't see why you would have to submit both results...but it might show up on results document that you have to load onto your nursingcas application that you took it twice. And if you used the school code to register for the test, they'll have access to your results anyway...

Thank you! I'm hoping that it's not a mistake but I was initially number 10 on the waitlist and I'm not sure how much the list has moved. I'm waiting to hear a reponse from the counselor but I'm not sure.
