Hey guys! I'm new to this forum but has anyone applied for Spring 2018 Cohort yet? I'm not sure if the applications are open yet but that is the cohort that I want to apply to. I will have my BA in Sociology in December 2017 and I am still doing my prerequisites. If you've already applied or are a current student, let me know if you think I'll have a chance at getting in.
Degree: BA in Sociology
Last 60 unit GPA: 3.4 (hoping to raise it to 3.6 by end of year)
Science GPA: 3.5 (still need to do Microbiology & Physiology)
Non-Science: 3.1 (Completed all)
CNA License: Yes
Paid Job Experience: Yes for 1.5 years
*Haven't taken HESi exam yet, but I will this month
Please help, what were your GPA's when you got in and when did you find out you were accepted? Also, if you were ever on the waitlist, when did you finally get accepted?
Hey guys, congratulations!! I got accepted to the Sac cohort as well. Can't wait to meet y'all. It's going to be an exciting year! For those who didn't get in, do not give up. I had a friend who applied twice before getting accepted. Do not give up. Wish you guys all the best!

I was accepted into the ELMSN-FNP program, so I'll be starting in Jan! If anyone has any questions about the application process for either program, please feel free to reach out. :)
Congratulations! I didn't make it into the ELMSN-FNP program this time but accepted a spot in the ABSN. I was really impressed with the other applicants when I participated in the group interview for the FNP. I think you will have a really solid cohort. See you on campus :)
Just did my letter of intent to the San Mateo cohort for Spring 2018!!! Do not be discouraged if you didn't get in, I was waitlisted then denied and finally got in this time. I did very well on my HESI but I didn't have the best last 60 unit GPA, I also didn't have all of my pre recs done (proof that you shouldn't be discouraged or doubtful if you don't have perfect stats... we've all been through obstacles on this journey already... we have what it takes) so KEEP PUSHING... IT WILL HAPPEN. I've been blessed to have guidance through this, so please if anyone wants to know anything feel free to shoot me a message. I would like to return the help and advice that allowed me to move forward.
I was waitlisted then denied also...with much better scores on the HESI the second time around. I feel very discouraged and feel as though I need to retake 2 years of classes and become a CNA just to be considered.

I got into Sacramento. I scored a 94 on the HESI, science GPA is 4.0, last 60 units gpa is a 3.4.
