Already been in nursing school- Dropped OUT- UGH, why????? *I digress...
*Received a degree from Sac State already, Cum Laude
Science G.P.A.= 3.4
Overall G.P.A. = 3.5
Teas= 84.1
1 year of healthcare experience
1 year of nursing school experience
Multiple community involvement experiences- ERG's, Volunteer on Diversity teams, Church, internships, mentoring, tutoring
*Hoping that this may be the year because I'm going no where fast in my current job field and I want to return to a profession that I have a passion for and am good at!!
I am wondering the same thing. Has anyone been offered a spot on the ABSN waitlist for Sac yet? I am in the same boat as ckrs.
P.S. MalRey, my last name starts with "R" too. I'm praaaaaaaaaaaaying they are calling in alphetic order, though I know that is likely not the case. :icon_roll
I just talked to the San Mateo admissions counselor and she said that the earliest we will hear is October 15th about the SM - January cohort :) Only a little over a week!!!!

Thank you for the update! Really glad we don't have to wait all the way until November to hear from them. I hope I get in as this is my 2nd time applying. The timing would be perfect too
Hi ! Thanks everyone for ur emotional support but whosoever received calls so far can u tell us that how many times u guys applied may be they are giving priority to reapplicants!
Hi everyone! I'm a graduate of SMU-Sac. I see how lots of you are anxiously waiting to hear back. I don't know if this will give any of you some more hope, but I was wait-listed when I applied (some professor was late w/the recommendation). I was so anxious and had given up hope, but literally 5 days before Orientation, I got the call that I was accepted. So that was already in Nov. There is hope. ------ had told me (cuz I was frequently calling her) that one year they had called people the literal first day of class to tell them someone had dropped and they could join.

for those who got calls, are you talking about the Sacramento cohort? I am still waiting to hear from San Mateo.
