Hi everyone! Just wanted to get the conversation started for those who will be applying for the ABSN Fall 2020 cohort. I will be applying for the Sacramento location by the April 1 deadline. Is anyone finishing up their requirements now to do so as well? I'd love to connect with you!

I wonder if anyone still not gets an admission letter for the Sacramento campus? My friend told me she still gets nothing as now....

If your friend has not heard at all she may want to check her spam folder? Since the deposit is due this Friday I am assuming people on the waitlist will hear an update on their status soon after that. I have received acceptance to other schools with much cheaper tuition so I am weighing my options to move out of the Bay Area and may not put the seat deposit down on Friday.

I was accepted into the ABSN Fall 2020 Nov start program at San Mateo. Is there a facebook group created yet? I’m trying to also figure out the loans etc. if anyone has any Insite or feedback.

Hello all!

I have applied for the January 2021 session. Do you know if things will proceed differently because of the pandemic? Is it still in class / in hospital learning?

For Fall 2020 in Sacramento we will have lectures online from home, labs on campus, and clinicals in hospitals. I think some hospitals/departments are still not allowing students. UC Davis med center is allowing students.

When did you submit your application? I'm asking because I didn't know that they were still accepting applications for fall 2020 San Mateo.. I submitted mine on 7/1 but the only options available were Spring 2021 San Mateo and Spring 2021 Sac..

I would have loved to be able to start the program in November, but didn't see that as an option when I was applying (also I got the e-mail about 2020 Fall San Mateo being canceled due to them delaying the 2020 Summer San Mateo cohorts, so just curious when you applied!!

Were you accepted to the Summer 2020 san mateo cohort by any chance?

I applied for the Summer cohort that got moved to the November start. I got accept off the waitlist in July.
