I figured it was about time for a thread for this cohort, especially as we're getting close to hear back for the Nov. 2011 SF cohort. Did anyone else apply this cycle?

Futureernurse89: when do you receive information about picking clasees? I assumed we we're assigned classes. Then onyl emails I have are the checklist, welcome letter and one about our login info.

Did you receive a letter about classes? also, did you hear anythign about orientation?

Becky-Did you take your challenge exam for patho? I just took my challenge exam for comm class. They said it takes 3 weeks to send the transcript to Samuel Merritt! But so glad that it's done.Hopefully we'll hear something from EB soon! grr

Gandi- I did take it and passed. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. They gave me the grade with unofficial transcript. Do you have to wait to know if you passed, or just for the official papers to be sent to SMU? I am going to fax EB the unofficial by Aug 15, just so she has it. She emailed me a few days ago and said i was #7 now.

Becky-I did pass and got my score but the official transcript will not be mailed until 3 weeks they said. So hopefully the unofficial transcript will suffice. #7 is sooo close! I'm hoping we get good news soon! Being #12, not sure if I still have a chance, but anything is possible!

Does anyone have any opinions about the teachers ---- or -------, it would be really helpful when picking classes!

i took ----- for pathophys over the summer online, and aced it with minimal work. she's very helpful if you have questions and is reasonable when it comes to the quality of work.

did any of you take the required CPR course yet? i tried to search on AHA website, but couldn't find an upcoming course in the area.
