I figured it was about time for a thread for this cohort, especially as we're getting close to hear back for the Nov. 2011 SF cohort. Did anyone else apply this cycle?

Thanks bubbles! One question, it looks as though we have a week off for Thanksgiving. We shouldn't have any clinicals, being that it is during our first 5 weeks, so do you think we can plan to be out of town for Thanksgiving weekend? I'm not sure what the workload will be like and if it would be worth it...

Thanks for the information Bubbles! Another question for you - how far in advance do you get the schedule for the following block of classes? It sounds like it changes quite a bit each time...

hi jmh234! that's interesting how there's a november start - so you're in class for a couple weeks, have one week off for thanksgiving and back the remaining few weeks huh? but yes if it's during your first 5 week classes then you don't have to worry about clinicals. the workload is heavy, but i think if you save the at least a couple of days to play catch up on reading & do homework, it's worth it to go away and relax. it's all about time management of course :p

sosophia - i'm not sure if this applies to all of the campuses, but for us we got a tentative schedule for the whole school year during orientation which was very helpful, and our clinicals schedule came within the first month of class starting. but if that doesn't happen... each semester is about 3 terms long, so when you register for each semester you'll have the lecture schedule and a tentative clinicals schedule there also.

Gandi - I emailed EB as well and she said the same thing....no movements. Last time I checked I was nr 19. Did you apply for spring 2012?

Last time I spoke to her she said I was #10...I forwarded my app to summer 2012 to start in SF...

She told me also there had been no movement. I did decide to forward my application to summer SF cohort as well. Gandi, do you have any idea when we are supposed hear anything about that?
