I figured it was about time for a thread for this cohort, especially as we're getting close to hear back for the Nov. 2011 SF cohort. Did anyone else apply this cycle?

I think the standard answer is "mid to late June," but I was looking at last year's forum and they heard in the first week of June. I'm hoping it's sooner rather than later!

Yeah, I sent in my app the last week in April. I noticed the website says that they are still accepting apps though so it may take awhile to hear back. Anyone know why they are still accepting apps? I'm thinking it's because they haven't received enough interested people. So, just to get a feel for everyone's status: anybody still finishing pre-reqs? I'm taking the last leg of A&P and Chem to be completed in 2 weeks and I'm signed up for Patho and Pharm this summer.

I took my patho class at SBCC online. Pretty easy too!

I'm taking a DSST challenge exam for interpersonal communication class on the 22nd, but other than that I have completed all of my prerequisites.

Just about every class is full but I'm trying to get on the waitlist for Moorpark College because I may be able to actually get in the class if enough people drop. So, are you finishing up the last of your pre-reqs this summer? Are you enrolled in any pre-reqs right now?

Do you live near Moorpark College? I am taking speech and pharm during the summer. I've been looking for a patho class that fits into my budget. I know the University of Phoenix does it online also but it cost almost 1200 for the class. If I can't get into a cheaper class then I might have to go with them

This summer, I'm taking pharmacology online at Santa Rosa JC. I'm trying to get into the pathophysiology online class at Moorpark College. I e-mailed the instructor about giving me an add code, and she told me to contact her closer to the first day, so I will do just that. I'm sure if you email her about it, there's something she can do (hopefully) since it is an online course. I'm also still taking microbiology this summer. And I'm just finishing up Anatomy and Interpersonal communications.

I turned in my application early May, and I'm waiting to hear back from them. I asked the admissions counselor why they extended the deadline, and she told me they didn't have enough qualified applicants/applications. Some were missing parts of their applications or weren't going to finish their prereqs on time, etc. And I asked how long it would take to hear back from them, and she said about a month.. which would be now. haha, so I would give it a few more weeks given the website STILL says they're accepting more applications.

But hey, not hearing back from them yet means there's still a possibility we can get accepted! :)
