Samford University FNP Fall 2013 students?

I was accepted into the program, and looking around for other students who will also be in the program. I have heard awesome things about Samford, and can not wait til August to start meeting fellow students and faculty. Orientation is coming up soon, hoping to chat with a few people before and see if they know the area better. I am probably flying out, renting a car, and also a hotel room. Any info would be fantastic, or just introduce yourself.

Not sure if any of you have ordered your books yet but I did on 8/6 and as of this morning nothing had shipped yet. I called down there and they are waiting on the patho/phys book to come in before they ship. If you call them they will go on and send the other books for you and not charge you for that one. You then have to go back in and reorder the patho book or you can order it from somewhere else. Just wanted to give everyone else a heads up if they haven't checked on it.

Hey there! I was just accepted into Samford's FNP program for Spring 2014. I was hoping to see how you liked your first semester and see if you had any pointers for new students. I want to get started early studying. Can you tell me the title of the books for Advanced Physiology and Pathophysiology, Advanced Physical Assessment, and Pharmacotherapeutics for Advanced Nursing Practice? Any tips for things to prepare for in advance?

Did you get the names and editions of the books for patho, pharm and health assessment. I plan on going for the fall 2014 fingers crossed.
