Published

Hi, I created this for pre-nursing students who are applying to the BSN program at Sam Houston State University for the Fall of 2020. I am taking the TEAS exam two weeks from now. So far, these are my stats:

Cumulative GPA: 3.8

Pre-Nursing GPA: 3.74

How you did on the TEAS?

I really don't know which is a better option but you have great stats and honestly I wouldn't bother about that score lol but if u have the money and u are confident in boosting it up then go for it. I created a group me group chat for all fall 2020 applicants I will post the link below whenever I'm able to access my computer

Hi, I have taken the TEAS, but my reading is so low. My stats are:

Reading: 69

Math: 93

GPA: 4.0

I dont have any bonus point cuz I am transferring from Lone Star.

DO you guys think should I retake the TEAS? And any tip for reading skills?

Thank you.

I don’t know, I think it depends if you think you can keep your math score that high again, it depends how confident you feel.I’ve heard of people that took it again and did better and some don’t. All I studied for the reading section was the mometrix book and I got 81

Hey guys. My Nursing GPA is actually a little low at 3.3, but I am hoping my TEAS scores will help out. Math: 97% Reading: 92% Overall: 82%. My GPA worries me, but we will see!

I hope it does. That's a good teas score I have never taken the teas just passed hesi for another score about to start studying for teas u mind sharing tips. I made a group chat on group me will link down below soon

I don't have too many tips sadly. I just used the ATI study guide and practice book you can buy. It is a little expensive, but it helped me out a lot.

I’m also applying for this program and I’m not confident that I’m going to get in because my TEAS score for reading is a 70, but my math score is a 96. My overall GPA is a 3.87 and my nursing GPA is a 3.6

I’m also planning on applying to this program. I haven’t submitted the application yet as it’s due in June and I have all of my information on nursing cas already. My GPA is a little low but here are my stats:

TEAS

Reading: 91.5%
Math: 93.8%

nursing GPA: 3.52

overall GPA: 3.17

Do u have cna or some shsu credit that might boost your chances your TEAS scores are great how did u study please?

Hi! I did not go to SHSU at all and I have no previous healthcare experience. ? As for the TEAS I used the mometrix study book, which is helpful, but I barely studied smh.
