Salisbury Accelerated BSN Applicants for 2013

U.S.A. Maryland

Published

The deadline is approaching! I noticed there wasn't a thread for this so I thought I'd start one. Is anyone else out there applying to Salisbury for the Accelerated BSN program?

Cmullen, what does your letter say about reserving your space? Do you have to make a deposit be a certain date? Just wondering if there is any info that may give us some insight on how they deal with their wait listed people.

I do not have to make a deposit but it asks me to either confirm or deny my intent to enroll no later than March 4th.Check your mail frequently everybody. A friend of mine just got her letter this am.

I'm being kind of obsessive, I'm sorry. Does your friend live in MD?

No worries I totally understand. Yes I believe she lives in the Salisbury area actually.

LotusBean, I am doing the same thing with obsessing! I started thinking oh no, cmullen87 lives on the Eastern Shore like me, so I should have gotten a letter if I'm in. I hope there's something in the mail today for us!

I just checked my mail. I feel like my last bit of hope is gone.

I didn't get anything either, so I know how you feel. But, don't lose hope yet. Maybe no news is good news? Hang in there. I feel like this waiting is turning me into a basket case! :)

I tried to withdrawal my application awhile ago but they've still been calling me. On the voicemail they say my application is incomplete and I have until March first to submit my application. If they are still collecting missing documents then they must not have sent out all the letters let! I think its a good sign. I think you guys should still have a lot of hope left :).

Thanks, Veg. You've got a good point.

Congrats everybody thats been accepted! That's awesome...good luck to everyone else!

I got in!!!

I'm actually working in a foreign country right now so my boyfriend's mother (who is currently receiving my mail) emailed me with a scan of the acceptance letter. My boyfriend woke me up at 6:30 AM when he saw the message from her on skype and just said there was good news in my email and I needed to wake up. I was jumping up and down for ten minutes after I read it. It is my top choice program, and the only one I had applied to because I was so dead set on going. I'd love to talk with some of the other students who will be attending in the fall and I can't wait to meet you all.

To those who are still waiting, don't lose hope. I'm pretty sure this is just one batch of acceptance letters and more will be mailed soon. The secretary, Ms. Boger, kept telling me not to expect news until March when I emailed her to ask about my application, and I have a feeling that is when they make most of the decisions.

Congratulations, Claire825!
