Salisbury Accelerated BSN Applicants for 2013

The deadline is approaching! I noticed there wasn't a thread for this so I thought I'd start one. Is anyone else out there applying to Salisbury for the Accelerated BSN program?

I agree. I am a big planner, so having my life in a waiting pattern is so frustrating! I called the department and left a message because I have a bunch of questions. I'll definitely post any info. I get after I talk to someone. I hope your afternoon goes fast! :)

Well LotusBean, I guess we have to keep busy and hope for the best. I will definitely post any info. I get. I think finishing strong on pre-reqs is most important for now.

Yup, I'll be focusing on pre-reqs, but I think I'll also look into options at Chesapeake. I feel really strongly about getting a bachelor's, but I'm not willing to move, so Salisbury is my only reasonable choice. I think I need to take a little time off from thinking about all of this. It's stressful and a little disheartening. I do believe it will work out in the end though, whatever than may look like.

I'm in the same boat. Salisbury is my only option for a BSN. It will definitely all work out. We should try to get together sometime! I feel like we have so much in common! We are in Cambridge a lot because we keep our boat at the marina at the Hyatt. In the summer, I do a lot of running around Cambridge when we spend the night on our boat. I was training for a marathon a couple years ago and ran 20 miles by myself and practically got lost from all the winding around I was doing to get the full 20 in! I feel like I know Cambridge inside and out! My husband and I also like the High Spot & Jimmy & Sooks.

Ms. Boger told me that there are more than 30 names on the wait list, and that if there is a ranking, she's doesn't have that information.

Congratulations, oye757928! I bet you are thrilled after such a long wait. And, thanks LotusBean for the info. I still haven't heard back from Dr. Parsons, so I just sent her an e-mail with specific questions. I wish we could get a better understanding of how this wait list process works. Hopefully, a response to my e-mail will come soon with more info.
