Salisbury Accelerated BSN Applicants for 2013

The deadline is approaching! I noticed there wasn't a thread for this so I thought I'd start one. Is anyone else out there applying to Salisbury for the Accelerated BSN program?

Hey guys...my credentials are crap so the phone call probably doesn't mean as much as you all are thinking!! hehe. I took all my pre-reqs about patho, which I'm completing online now through a self-paced online course through University of Northern Colorado. SU said they will accept this, and you can start it any time and have 6 months (i think? maybe a year) to complete the course. Also the cheapest option I found to do it online (~$600). I got good grades in my pre-reqs, mostly A's, only took 1 chem classs. I have no medical experience unfortunately, and my background is in international business and I work for a software design firm.

Good luck to everyone!! They called me yesterday because the admissions office still considers my app incomplete because I didn't have transcripts sent directly from the university where I studied abroad. I scrambled to get those in. Kind of annoyed because I tried to contact the admissions office directly many times to clarify about the status of my app.

cbrubaker, it sounds like you have a very interesting background. I always wished I'd studied abroad! I hope they get everything cleared up with your application, and sorry you're dealing with that! Good luck to you and everyone, and hopefully we'll all hear something over the next couple weeks.

I think it's great we have such diverse backgrounds. It will make for interesting classmates and group of friends!
