About how much does a registered nurse with an associates make?

Specializes in Trauma, ER, ICU, CCU, PACU, GI, Cardiology, OR.

Unquestionably, there is a large range in nurses salary it will vary from... degree, area of work, state, union or not union, private practice, experience, shifts, weekend differentials, Trauma Ctr., regular hospitals, nursing homes, private duty, nurse consultant, then you get into Nurse level 1,2, 3, 4, and let's not talk about the V.A. nurses we get into level 7.scale 10, 8+, 9+,10+, 11+ 12+ etc... so in answer to your question it depends on all of these factors. However, I would suggest you to do a little research in your area on your computer and obtain the starting salary and take it from there best of luck ;)

Specializes in ER/Trauma, Corrections, Consulting.

I live in NE Ohio, have been a nurse a while though. At the hospital I work part time at I make about $30/hr. I am salaried in my FT job as a legal nurse consultant and make $65K a year ($32/hr). And yes, that's with (only) an AAS (if that's what you want to call it!). It's served me very well and I have no real desire to go back to school any time soon :)

Suburban Philadelphia 15 years exp $37.

Specializes in Ante-Intra-Postpartum, Post Gyne.

It depends on area AND hospital. I now get 25.55 for nights. If I was not laid off from my last job I would be getting 31.90
