Salary LPN in Phoenix area?

Published

I currently graduated as an LVN in Agust, will be taking my boards in a week and half. I grew up in Yuma but currently living in San Diego. My husband and I decided we will be relocating to the Phoenix area this summer without a doubt. My question what is the pay rate for LPN? My best opportunity for higher pay would be where? Thanks in advance for the help

Well, the best bet would be LTC. I had some new grad LPN friends last year that started around 18.00 an hour. As far as hospitals.............they don't seem to be hiring LPNs much. I am working as an LPN extern at Banner Good Sam and get 13.50. I don't know what they pay normal LPNs.

Have you tried salary.com ???

Wow, that is low. I figured just like here LTC pays better but I don't want to do that. Well thanks for your input

Check into rehab facilities then. I know Healthsouth pays their LPNS better than hospital. Although it's sub acute with like 8-9 patients for each nurse. Which is probably hectic as hell.

Hello, I make 20.00 hr. ut I have been at the same Hosp. for 11 yrs. LPNS are definently underpaid.
