salary of fresher LPN in Atlanta

Published

Hello Everyone,

My case is unique. I did my LPN graduation from a Technical college in Atlanta,GA and passed NCLEX-PN in Jan 2011. Due to my immigration status which did not allowed me to work in USA, my license was not issued. now in Jan 2015 I received my license after change in my immigration status. in the meantime I could not work at all due to above mentioned restriction. I started looking for jobs although I have been out of touch. I have started to volunteer at clinic for homeless to refresh my skills. I cannot work late evenings or night because my husband travels and I have a 7 yr old daughter.

When I apply for positions they ask about 'expected salary'. I have no idea what to write. Can someone tell me the salary offered to a fresh LPN graduate in Doctors office and long term care facilities in Atlanta area?

Dr.'s offices pay like $13 or so per hour.

LTC you're looking at $16-$20 per hour.

I also live in Atl.
