Anyone accepted for the Fall 2008 semester? I just got my acceptance letter!!! Yay!!! :) :yeah:

I'm sure that the gpa doesn't really matter as much, however it does have a factor in the admissions process. You MUST have at least an overall 2.5 in order to be considered, and then you have to do well on the DET. After that, when they call you in for an interview, that is when they look at your grades.

If you took a&p more than once, they will only count the one that is a grade of C or better. So you don't have to worry about that.

As long as you have over a 2.5 you shouldnt have to worry.

Hey Congrats on getting in! Quick question. I am scheduled to take my exam on Friday @ 9:00 am. I am coming straight from work(I work overnight) and worried that I am going to be late and pressed for time. What is the whole procedure gettign registered. Do they fingert print you? Check 10 id"s and still have you waiting? I dont want to be too late and jeopardize my time for taking the test. Thanks hope you can help!

just arrive 15 mins before the scheduled exam, and you'll be fine. they just check your ID as you enter the examination room. once you go in, you'll be filling out your scantron. Nope. No finger prints. lols

To l0serxjenn thanks for responding to my post, it also hepled a lot. Im thinking about appling for the fall of next year, i would have like to go for the spring but since im not driving and its night too. So hopefully i get in for the fall.

Hello all:

I have a few questions regarding SVCMC - School of Nursing. All of this is new to me and would be most appreciative of any information that anyone has to offer. I am currently seeking an LPN program to apply to and am studying for the review materials for the pre entrance exam. Does this school offer LPN as a major? Where is the school actually located? What hours are the evening courses? Where can I find more info about their program and course offerings?

For anyone who's attended the EVENING program -

How are their classes typically offered? Are their a few time slot options per class or is the one class pretty much offered to everyone, with no other time choice?

I took the exam on 10/9 and it is all i seem to think about. I hope to hear something postive...soooon.

I am an evening nursing student in SPSON right now. They currently don't have an LPN program, just an associate's degreee. Evening classes start at 5pm until generally about 10-11pm. It's a two-year program. They have a website: http://www.stpaulsschoolofnursing.com/. Hope this helps!

The school is pretty small. Per calendar year, they only accept one class (consists of 40 students) for the evening program and one class for the morning program. Saint Paul is not a typical college where you could create your own schedule and choose your teachers. Your schedule is basically made up for the whole class, so know that if you want to be in the evening program, your 5pm-11pm schedule should definitely saved for school.

is anyone applying to other nursing schools for the fall??
