Saint Mary's University of Minnesota CRNA Program

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

I have applied for Summer 2017 admission into St. Mary's University of Minnesota's CRNA program. My application is under review right now. Who has applied to this school for Summer 2017 and is waiting with me? I would love to hear from you! Are there any current or previous students who can offer advice about how the program is set up and your experiences? I would love to hear from you as well! Thank you so much!

Thanks for the update... At least I can try to forget about it for a while!

Waiting to hear as well

Hi, I am also anxiously waiting to hear as well. I got into Barry in Florida but am waiting to hear on MN to make a final decision. I had heard mid-may/june a decision would be made per the schools external relations reps.

I will be applying in the future so I just want to follow this! Good luck everybody!

Rejected as of today. [emoji30] not enough experience in the ICU. Good luck to everyone else who has applied!

Specializes in MICU.

Don't feel bad. I was denied admission as well. The reason is not disclosed. Good luck to everyone else still in the running.

Denied here as well. Did you guys happen to receive a letter or email? My application status simply states "denied".

Thanks and best of luck to everyone!

I was denied as well. It says "denied" on the website. Same for you guys?

Mine still says "admission review". I guess it's only been a little over a month and this is something everybody who's ever tried to apply to grad school has to go through, but it's quite the arduous wait. Anybody received any positive news yet? And those whose application status said "denied", did you receive an email or letter or anything as well?

I didn't receive an email or letter. I just saw denied on my application status. Good luck to you though! What about anybody else?

Haven't heard anything yet. Application status still under review

I received a response today from the school with respect to my application inquiry. My application was not competitive this year as the majority of my core science courses were taken at a community college where I earned my ADN. I'm in the process of taking a graduate level chemistry course which will hopefully help. Does anyone know if the majority of CRNA schools place a heavy merit on the type of institution your sciences were taken at? (Community college vs. University)?
