Saint Mary's University of Minnesota CRNA Program

Published

I have applied for Summer 2017 admission into St. Mary's University of Minnesota's CRNA program. My application is under review right now. Who has applied to this school for Summer 2017 and is waiting with me? I would love to hear from you! Are there any current or previous students who can offer advice about how the program is set up and your experiences? I would love to hear from you as well! Thank you so much!

From what I have seen yes. Some grad level courses would help balance boost your coursework on the eyes of different schools. With that being said, I think most programs look at ICU experience

Application status now changed to "Requirements Check." Anyone else have this change? Or know what it means?

Strange, I could have sworn that mine said "requirements check" earlier on before it switched over to the month-long+ "admission review" purgatory. So I really have no idea what it means. Doesn't sound negative, though.

I just had some transcripts sent from a graduate course I took, and they are now uploaded to my application. Sounds like that would explain it.

Anyone else see this on the "prospective students" tab of the SMUMN NA program's website? Just spotted it this morning. "We have finished processing applications for the class starting in 2017 and letters are going out." I was out of town over the weekend and hoped to find a letter (for better or for worse) waiting for me in the mailbox today, but no such luck.

I had not seen this, thank you for the update.

Stay hopeful.. Likely you will be admitted or wait listed. Rejection letters went out earlier.

I just received notice that I was accepted to the program to start in 2017. The letters were not sent out until this past Monday for everyone else nervously waiting.

Congrats! I like the program so far!

Out of town until tomorrow night! The suspense is too much! Ahhhh

Hello, I just recently saw this thread for CRNA school at St. Mary's. I am currently number two on the waiting list. Is anyone else on the waiting list with me? Thanks!

Anyone have info on what this program is like? Honestly, I've read some poor reviews so am on the fence about applying. Anything you heard would be appreciated!
